2022 State Convention

The NBA-WC is excited to announce that we are hosting the 2022 State Convention January 20-22 on the campus of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh!  The convention will include Intercollegiate Band, High School Honor Band, Middle School Honor Band, guest band performances, informational clinics, and more!

Necessary COVID-19 safety protocols will be observed in accordance with campus mandates and safety considerations.  This may include required use of masks and bell covers for all guest band and honor band members.

Visit our Convention Page for registration, conference hotel reservations, etc.

Commissioning Project

The National Band Association-Wisconsin Chapter seeks to further Instrumental Music Education through commissioning an original band work by a notable composer.  The 2019 State Convention featured the premiere performance of Robert Sheldon’s Glorious Insurrection by the All-State Band, and we are currently working to on our next project to produce another new piece to be added to the repertoire of quality band music available to the world.

A work of this magnitude is costly and donations are accepted and appreciated. No amount is too large or too small, all are appreciated.  Please consider donating by using the link below.  If you wish to donate a larger amount and become a member of the consortium, see the form letter below.  Thanks much for the support of our students and instrumental music education in our State, Country and World.
